Intestinal Parasitism:

Infections caused by intestinal worms are common. These parasites need a host organism to survive, and they often cause no symptoms. However, some people experience anal itching.

The worms enter the body through the mouth. They can be present on food or on contaminated objects touched by the hands, and if hands aren’t washed, they are brought to the mouth.

Pinworms are small white worms a few millimeters in size, and the females lay eggs around the anus, causing itching.

The tapeworm is caused by the pork or beef tapeworm, and infection occurs from consuming undercooked infected meat.

Ascariasis is caused by the Ascaris parasite, which can be found in contaminated water or inadequately washed food.

Hydatid disease of the liver is caused by a parasite from dogs. Once in the intestine, it crosses the wall and settles in the liver, where it forms cysts. It can also settle in the lungs.

The liver fluke, transmitted by cattle or contaminating plants consumed by humans, hatches in the intestine and then migrates to the liver where it settles.

If the parasitic issues are not treated, they can deteriorate the general health condition.

Medical Treatment:

The medical treatment for parasitic infections is an anti-helminthic drug, a deworming medication in tablet or liquid form, taken for a prescribed period to fight against the worms and unhatched eggs.
